Shelley Conrad
In 1972 I joined the back to the land movement and bought 40 acres with no running water and no electricity or phone and proceeded to live there for 15 years. Completely self sustaining. Now, I have a sustainable homestead in Penn Valley with milk cows, sheep and chickens and a small CSA with eggs and fruit and veggies. I love to spin and weave. And most of all I love to farm/garden and raise bees. I raised 6 amazing kids and have 2 grand kids.
In 1993 I got my real estate license and became a Country Property Specialist. I have worked on and off as a realtor listing and selling ranches and homes for friends and family over the last 30 years. I am a very busy agent and was the top producer in the offices I worked in the past. I am a fighter for women rights and I’ve been an observer and practitioner of the wise traditions. Recently I became a KVMR broadcaster and member of their Women’s Collective.
In 1977 I became an EMT and ran Fort Ross Rescue. I was also a firefighter and fought several wildfires. I taught emergency childbirth to firefighters and EMT’s, as well as Childbirth preparation classes starting in 1975. I worked 4 years in a Women’s Health Collective as a PA-I in Sonoma County. I’ve been a mellow radical midwife for 47 years attending home births!
I value honesty, integrity, kindness and hard work. I go the extra mile, I’m tenacious and a ruthless negotiator.
