Heidy Adams
Heidy grew up on a rural homestead on the west coast, where she developed a deep passion for sustainable living, farming, local food, natural medicine, and the art of remote living. Eight years ago, she moved to the Sierra Nevada, where she has since been cultivating an organic homestead and medicinal herb farm in the picturesque Penn Valley.
Heidy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Plant Biology from the University of Washington, with a focus on Plant Taxonomy and the ethnobotanical uses of wild plants. Her experience includes working on an herb farm, where she cultivated and processed medicinal herbs for a Naturopathic Clinic, and managing a wholesale, certified organic nursery that supplied hundreds of varieties of medicinal and culinary plants to local nurseries.
Passionate about helping people discover their best lives in the beautiful Sierra Mountains and foothills, Heidy excels in assisting clients in finding homes and properties ideal for homesteading. With her extensive knowledge of wild plant identification, landscape types, micro-climates, and water resources, she is uniquely equipped to guide clients in identifying the perfect environment for their dream home.
Heidy values relationships, community, and the environment she calls home. She is dedicated to helping others connect with the land and live sustainably. Feel free to reach out to Heidy with any questions or to start your journey to finding your ideal property.
